Objects:  M 35 and NGC 2158

Constellation:  Gemini

Coordinates (J2000): 6h 07m 38; +24° 14' - North is up

Remarks: M 35 is an open star cluster 3870 light years away, it contains about 400 stars. The compact open cluster NGC 2158 lies directly southwest of M 35.


Telescope and camera: Newton 400mm, f 2.5, Focal length 1020 mm, ASA 3" Reducer 0,73x, CDS-5D, ISO 800

Mount: ASA DDM 85, Software: Autoslew V5.1, Sequence V9

Exposure: 15x 5min

Date and Conditions: March 25 2020, conditions pretty good, stars up to 5m6
